Sunday Rehearsal
Get decked out with an instrument, some music, and break out the tennis shoes.
Monday Potluck Lunch!
This is a change to protect what remains of our sanity. Bring your family and have lunch with us on Monday afternoon.
Monday Rehearsal
There is a Sequim City Band dress rehearsal also on this evening, so we can’t go too late. This will mostly be a refresh, pick up anyone that couldn’t be there on Sunday, and give any last minute organization things for getting to our location and starting location.
Music and Marching Rehearsal:
Time: 4PM – 5:30PM
Place: PAHS Band Room
Do feel free to come listen to the Sequim City Band dress rehearsal at 7PM at the new Swisher Hall as well!
Ch-ch-ch CHANGES!
If you have the time, join the Sequim City Band at the James Center at 3PM for their patriotic concert.
Staging Downtown 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM
The parade Starts at 6:00 PM
Parade Length is a mile and a half.
We are Number 15, with martial arts in front, and cheerleaders behind us!
Because of security around the Navy Vessel at the port dock, our staging is different from previously. Find out all about it at Rehearsal on Sunday and Monday!
Bring the family before rehearsal on Monday to a potluck LUNCH. Bring something delicious, or even an old HS Favorite. Sorry no A&W Pickle Fries.
Yea, no, I don't think we will be doing sectionals for this. This is much more fun and community than trying to beat Ghostlight.
You never know where people have gone, or what they have done. We may be rushing through this, but catching up will happen!
The doctor says 20 mins a day. Let the Alumni Band help with some deep breathing and miles.
Sorry, of course we are going to try and beat Ghostlight! They couldn't even put on skates and beat us in 2019!
Any extra we have left over after organizing this, or that we may collect on the parade route will be set to the PAHS Band Endowment Fund.
This is a fun group, and a very very short parade. It’s an easy way to spend a bit of time before the fireworks, and after the rest of the downtown activities.
All of the organizers are busy, work fulltime, and have other gigs. We can use some additional help.
What we need:
Reaching out to alumni. Break out your address books, Facebook friends, mastodon herds etc. More that can join this in any capacity the more fun it can be!
Documentation:
Again, busy. Share any photos from 2019 or 2021 so we can have a wider variety of faces to showcase! Photos videos etc. can be just file dropped to us here: PAHS Alumni Band Uploads
Someone that knows what we are missing:
If you see something that needs to be added, or more details. Get in touch. Even if you don’t join, you can use the contact form on the bottom of the page to send a message.
